An amazing thing happened for our family during spring &early Summer in 2011. We had John build our dream addition and porch project.

We had planned to build this addition and porch since we had moved into our home. We took action early this spring. We prepared drawings and got the permit done on march 18

In order to get the right contractor, we were browsing through the internet, one day "JT Wood Construction" caught my eye because of their framing experience shown on their website. After Contacting John, we met on site to view the plan, we felt that he is a handyman,he said he would do the entire project himself.  We have had the experience where someone comes to talk to you and sign the agreement, but the work is done by others. We didn't want that to happen again.

We finally hired John to start the project including concrete pilings,decking,wall and roof framing and arch shaped porch, this project is not a big one but because of our design style and arch shape, and wanting  to keep consistent with the existing dwelling, there were some tricky things that needed to be figured out. For example,according to our design,we had a flat drain valley,John realized this before starting the project Based on his experience he figured out the best way to build a sloped roof to replace the flat valley, it works well and it is invisible from the street. Another part of the project that we are very satisfied with is a prestigious arch porch that John built. It has real curb appeal indeed.

We are glad to hear that John will start our Neighbors project soon because of the the nice job done for us, also we definately reccommend John for you new project in the future.
